Festival pass: our offer for film fans!

Watching films with the festival pass – this is how it works

The festival pass gives you access to all films and events (with the exception of the opening). It is valid in combination with a free single ticket, which must additionally be obtained. To obtain such a single ticket, please have your festival pass with the so-called ticket ID ready. 


Two-step procedure

1. Buy the festival pass and receive your personal ticket ID: either here via the website or at our festival centre at the HFF
2. Receive single tickets for film screenings and events free of charge: via online ticket sales or at the box office (using your festival pass)


Types 

  • Festival pass cinema: 80,00 euros
  • Festival pass @home: 50,00 euros
  • Festival pass dual: 100,00 euros
  • Late Bird Festival Pass cinema: 25,00 euros (from 16 May)
  • Last Weekend Festival Pass @home: 12,00 euros (from 23 May)


Availability of the films

Under the tag #Only in cinema you will find the films that are only available in the cinema. All other films are available both in the cinema and online.

While stocks last

Please note that individual films may be offered online only with limited contingent or limited time availability, even for viewers with festival pass. A part of the contingent is reserved for festival passes, but we still advise you to watch these films at the beginning of the festival. You will find information about films with limited availability under the tag #Limited Films. 

Exception opening ceremony

Please note that unfortunately you cannot obtain tickets for the opening event on 7 May via your festival pass. You can purchase them separately via München Ticket.
