Lisa Morgenstern

Berlin-based composer, singer, pianist, and synth enthusiast Lisa Morgenstern gained attention in 2019 with her debut Chameleon. She has since toured Europe, supported Ólafur Arnalds and Joep Beving, and played festivals like Airwaves, SXSW, and Reeperbahn, as well as venues including the Elbphilharmonie. In 2022, she co-composed the score for Netflix’s The Empress, which won an Int. EMMY for Best Drama Series. She also worked on season two, again leading sessions with the Reykjavik Orchestra in Harpa Hall. She’s collaborated with artists like Casper, Balmorhea, and the Munich Radio Orchestra. Her upcoming album features complex arrangements and the award-winning choir Bulgarian Voices Berlin.
