Maria Robstad Nielsen

Maria Robstad (b. 1994) is a Danish producer with a versatile profile, rooted in Funen’s vibrant film scene. A graduate of 18Frames (2022), she works across genres and formats—from short fiction like Get a Grip (2024), winner of the Audience Award at Odense International Film Festival, to serving as an all-round post wizard at Edithouse Fyn on complex international documentaries such as Mr. Nobody Against Putin (2025). She is also the co-founder of Emjay Productions, where she develops and produces socially engaged and high-risk productions. Robstad’s skill set spans everything from creative development to safety and logistics, and she teaches and mentors the next generation through FLOW | FILM.
