Regine Elbers is a media artist, sound operator and doctoral candidate (PhD) in the department for Experimental Radio at Bauhaus-University Weimar. Initially, she worked at various broadcasting stations and in the field of video art and multimedia production. She began professionalizing her artistic work in 2015 with her studies in Media Art/Media Design (MfA). This led to the creation of compositions, installations, radio plays and performative live events. Her acoustic works have been broadcast in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland and her sound compositions have been performed at venues such as Kunstraum München and KloHäuschen. She has a particular interest in performative, cross-genre works and their immersive artistic presentation.
