Marko Doringer

Marko Doringer, born in 1974 in Salzburg, Austria, is an independent film producer and director. After dropping out of the Graz University of Technology and the University of Vienna journalism school, he founded his own film production company FILMFABRIK in 1999, producing several feature-length documentaries. YOUR STRUGGLE – MY STRUGGLE (2023) is the latest instalment in Doringer’s series of autobiographical films. Now, Marko Doringer is working on THE SOLDIER – an essayistic journey by director Marko Doringer along the lifeline of his late grandfather. It takes us into the greatest crime in human history – and back to our present. A timely film about the resurgence of resentment.
