CyberRäuber (CyberRäuber)
CyberRäuber is a digital performing arts collective founded in 2016 by Marcel Karnapke and Björn Lengers. They combine technological affinity, pioneering spirit, and love for theater in their work. Their initial projects made classical theater experienceable in VR, later developing works that connect digital and physical stage spaces. Their portfolio encompasses productions for various theater forms using VR, AR, Mixed Reality, 360° film, apps, and AI. In 2024, they were awarded the theater prize "Der Faust" for their play "Solingen 1993!" Their works are presented internationally and explore the future of theater in the digital age.
