Biography

Lina Vdovîi is a Moldovan filmmaker and award-winning journalist. She specializes in investigative journalism. In 2020, she wrote the screenplay for the documentary ACASA, MY HOME by Radu Ciorniciuc; TATA is her directorial debut.
Journalist and documentary filmmaker Radu Ciorniciuc founded Romania's first independent media organization, Casa Jurnalistului, in 2012. His work mostly deals with complex social issues, and his debut film ACASA, MY HOME won awards worldwide.
